เริ่มจากที่ “นอ” (นรเทพ มาแสง) มือเบสซึ่งเล่นดนตรี มาหลายชิ้น หลายแนว ทั้งดนตรีไทย, แจ๊ส ช่วงใกล้ๆ เรียนจบที่ ม.ประสานมิตร มีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องหา เพื่อนมาร่วมงาน เพื่อทำโปรเจคท์ด้านดนตรี จึงชักชวน “เอ” (พลกฤษณ์ วิริยานุภาพ) ซึ่ง ทำเพลง ไว้อยู่แล้ว ประมาณ 4 เพลง และไปหามือกลองมาเพิ่มคือ “บอส” (นิรุจ เดชบุญ) ซึ่งเมื่อก่อนจะจับแซกโซโฟนเป็นอาชีพ แต่บังเอิญ ที่ตำแหน่งนี้ ไม่มีคนเล่นก็เลยเปลี่ยนมาตีกลอง และที่สำคัญ หญิงกรี๊ดมากกว่า ส่วนนักร้องนำ “โจ้” (อัมรินทร์ เหลืองบริบูรณ์) ที่มีตำแหน่งนักร้องชนะเลิศการประกวด ไทยแลนด์ โค้ก มิวสิค อวอร์ด เป็นเครื่องหมาย รับรองน้ำเสียง โดยมีชีวิตคลุกคลี อยู่กับเพลงลูกทุ่ง มาตั้งแต่เด็ก ฝึกร้องเพลงทุกแนวมาเรื่อยจน มาถึงสมัยหนึ่งที่อายุเริ่มมากขึ้น เกิดอยากทดสอบ ความสามารถ ของตัวเอง จึงสมัครเข้าประกวด และเข้าแข่ง อยู่หลายเวที จนได้รางวัลสมใจ แล้วก็คิดขึ้นมาว่าอยู่ ตัวคนเดียว เหงาจึงมองหาเพื่อนร่วมวง ที่จะทำให้รู้สึก อบอุ่นขึ้น เหมือนพรหมลิขิตให้มาเจอะเจอ และถูกเกี้ยว ให้เป็นหนึ่งใน สมาชิกของวงพอส ทั้ง นอ, เอ, บอส, โจ้ ได้ซ้อม เล่น ด้วยกันมาเรื่อย จนมีโอกาสไปแสดง ที่งาน “คอลเลจ อาร์ติส” ของนิตยสาร “บันเทิงคดี” และตั้งชื่อวง อย่างเก๋ไก๋ว่า “พอส” ที่แปลได้ความหมายว่า “หยุด(ชั่วคราว)”
วันหนึ่งไปเล่นโชว์ ในงานของ คลื่นร็อค “ไพเรท เรดิโอ” ที่ฮาร์ด ร็อค คาเฟ่ บังเอิญถูกตาต้องใจทาง “เบเกอรี่ มิวสิค” จึงเรียกมาคุย เพื่อเซ็นสัญญาเข้าเป็นศิลปิน ในสังกัด แล้ววง “พอส” ก็ได้แสดงฝีมือ อวดพี่ๆ ในงานคอนเสิร์ต “เบเกอรี่ ออน เดอะ ร็อค” ที่ เอ็ม บี เค ฮอลล์ มาบุญครองเซ็นเตอร์ โดยเล่นเป็นวงเปิดให้ “อรอรีย์และซีเปีย” ซึ่งถือว่าท้าทาย ความสามารถอยู่ไม่น้อย และทำให้ชื่อของ “พอส” ถูก แฟนเพลง ถามถึงผลงานชุดแรก ในทันควัน ก่อนจะ เข้าห้องอัด เพื่อทำอัลบั้ม ก็ได้มีโอกาส ไปร่วมทัวร์ คอนเสิร์ตกับ “ซิลลี่ ฟูลส์” และเพื่อนศิลปินค่าย อื่นคือ “ออดี้ และ วิซาร์ท” ในคอนเสิร์ตที่ชื่อ “อัลเทอร์เนทีฟ ปาร์ตี้ ออน ทัวร์” ซึ่งเป็นงานหนักพอสมควร สำหรับมือสมัครเล่น ที่จะก้าวไปเป็นมืออาชีพแต่ก็เป็นผลดี สำหรับการเพิ่มเติม ประสบการณ์ทางดนตรีของวง “พอส”
จนใน ที่สุดอัลบั้มแรกก็เสร็จสิ้นโดยใช้ชื่ออัลบั้มว่า “PUSH ME AGAIN” (พุช มี อะเกน) เพราะ ชื่อวง “พอส” คือ “หยุดชั่วคราว” และ “PUSH ME AGAIN” (พุช มี อะเกน) ก็หมายถึงกดอีกทีก็จะเดินต่อไป
สมาชิกของวง “พอส” จึงมีหลากหลายทั้งร็อค ฟังค์ ป็อป สำเนียงดนตรี ฟังกันง่ายๆ และมีอะไรมากมาย หลั่งไหลออกมาจากสำเนียง ดนตรีที่แผงไปด้วยเนื้อหา สาระ จากมุมของพวกเขา ผนวกกับฝีไม้ลายมือ และลูกเล่นของ ดนตรี การแสดงบนเวทีของ “พอส” จึงชวนให้ท้าพิสูจน์ กันได้โดยไม่มีขีดจำกัด
